There are several ways to donate to Cherry Lodge. You can donate online, by using our donations form, by making a direct transfer, through our ‘tap to donate’ machine in reception, through payroll giving and by donating old currency.
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do – we couldn’t operate without them. Volunteering makes such a difference to people living with cancer. And it’s not just our members who benefit. Studies show that volunteering combats stress, depression and anxiety, boosts self-confidence and provides a sense of purpose. It’s a win–win for all concerned!
Times are tough for charities just now, and we need as many people as possible to raise funds for us. There are so many ways you can get involved, from taking part in our events to raising money through sponsorship. And the good news is, it’s great fun!
Legacies are essential to our long-term survival, as fundraising and donations alone don’t cover our ongoing running costs. Leaving a legacy can make a huge difference to people living with cancer in your local community – and leaving a ‘charitable legacy’ has tax advantages, too.
Our friendly shop in the heart of High Barnet is small but special. It sells a wide range of quality donated goods – donations both large and small are a great help. And we’re often looking for volunteer shop assistants, too.
