How we help

Cherry Lodge Cancer Care is a local charity based in Barnet committed to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer, their carers, family and friends. We work alongside the NHS in the borough of Barnet and the surrounding area, offering nurse-led information and support services, counselling and complementary therapies at our friendly centre in High Barnet. We also offer a range of group activities, an outreach service in other parts of the borough and a befriending service providing additional support for people in their own homes.

Despite exciting progress in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, the number of cases is rising each year and national resources are stretched. There is an unmet need and growing demand for the support we provide. Our services are completely free of charge and delivered by cancer nurse specialists, fully qualified therapists and trained volunteers.
