Everyone is welcome at our friendly centre in the heart of High Barnet. We look forward to seeing you.

Getting here

We are located at:

Howard House, 23 Union Street, High Barnet, Hertfordshire EN5 4H.

We are close to many public transport options:

Underground
High Barnet Station, on the northern line, is around half a mile from the centre, some of which is uphill. If you’re reasonably mobile it’s a 10-minute walk, or you can cross the road and catch a bus for a couple of stops.

Bus
Our centre is just a short walk from many bus routes, including the 107, 184, 234, 263, 307, 326, 383, 384, 389, 399 and 614.

Car
We recommend the public car park for the Spires Shopping Centre on Stapylton Road. The payment machine accepts cards, and it’s just a short walk away. There’s also limited on-street parking on the High Street, Union Street and Wood Street – payment at Pay & Display machines or by mobile phone, or free for a limited time
at various nearby locations for Blue Badge holders (check signage).

Opening times

We’re open Monday – Friday, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, and some Tuesday evenings. You don’t need an appointment to drop in and find out more about us, but you will need an initial assessment either by phone or in person with a Cherry Lodge health care professional. If you can’t come in person, there are other ways to contact us.

Our facilities

We pride ourselves on our homely, welcoming atmosphere. Inside the centre, you’ll find a reception area stacked with useful booklets and leaflets, meeting rooms, four well-equipped treatment rooms, toilets and kitchens – useful for making endless cups of tea!

A big thank you

Our wonderful centre would not have been possible without the support of our generous donors. Here are some of the people and organisations to whom we owe an enormous debt of gratitude.

Beryl and Kirk Howard
We purchased our premises in 2009, thanks to their incredible generosity. The building is called Howard House in their memory.

Pamela Donn
The garden to the front of the building was created thanks to a legacy from her uncle and is dedicated to her memory.

Andy Weekes
Our downstairs meeting room has been named in his memory, in recognition of the huge sums raised by his friends through Summer Soulstice.

The Caron Keating Foundation
Along with other donors helped us to refurbish two downstairs treatment rooms.

Carolynne Cooper
A donation in her memory enabled us to remodel and refurbish one of our treatment rooms.

Linda Bagaini
The reception area was remodelled thanks to a legacy left by Linda Bagaini, a Cherry Lodge therapist for many years.

The Hadley Trust
Huge thanks for their many generous donations over the years.

We would also like to thank the many individuals and organisations who have contributed to the running of our centre through gifts of money, furniture, pictures, supplies and their time.

My visits to the Cherry Lodge centre for treatments and support, are something I look forward to every week. It’s such a warm, homely, calming place, and my visits give me the positivity to keep going.
